Chef Pertamawati or also known as Chef Etha is an Indonesian-born Chef, who has expanded her culinary adventure to various nations such as Maldives, Qatar, and St. Vincent & Grenadines Caribbean. Not only proving her competence through an impeccable career, but Chef Etha also received numerous notable awards and recognitions, including being the first woman Director Culinary of Marriott International Indonesia in the year 2021. With an undivided commitment and more than 20 years of working experience, Chef Etha is ready to elevate the culinary standard of Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay to new heights.

DESI ARIANI - The brilliant liquor wizard started her career in Surabaya and expanded her journey paths to pursue her dreams from Indonesia into various big nations such as United States of America and United Arab Emirates. Spent more than 15 years learning the ins & outs of food & beverage industry by working abroad, the international journeys has reversed her motivation to be back to the largest Archipelago's country in the world, her land of birth, Indonesia on 2019.
Not only proving her experience through an inspire career path, Desi also has proven her skills in the beverage scopes by received numerous awards such as a silver medal champion for UAE Tea Gastronomy & Tea Mixology Cocktail Competition in 2013 and a title holder of Tea Master by The Beverage Academy Emirates, Dubai.
Her passion in the art of beverage making has brought her way arrived in Batam Island and helmed the sophisticated lounge & bars at Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay, including The Lounge, a Marriott Hotel's Great-room designed bar and the famous rooftop in the island, named Altitude. For Desi, hospitality and inventive at its finest. Understand, engage, hosting are the values that she believes will WOW the guest at its lounge & bars.
Born in Medan, Rikki has started his career in 2004 within the Hospitality Industry. His fantastic journey of almost 17 years has forged him to become one of the most experienced bartenders in Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay.
During his time as a mixologist, who often served a large number of domestic and foreign customers, Rikki has developed unique expertise, which is to create "surprise" or "on the spot" beverages - cocktails that usually are not listed in the menu. This is what Marriott International call "The Art of Hosting".
